Part-Time Charity Administrative Assistant
Hybrid: Onsite (Carp, ON) + Remote
Carp Ridge Learning Centre is seeking a detail oriented, proactive Part-time Charity Administrative Assistant to support our Board and day-to-day operations. This is a hybrid role combining onsite work with flexible remote hours.
Key Responsibilities
- General administrative and document support
- Assist with CRA charity filings and annual compliance
- Update and maintain policies and governance documents
- Attend Board meetings; prepare agendas, minutes, and follow-ups
- Conduct research and provide summaries or recommendations to the Board
- Support event planning and fundraising activities
- Assist with website updates (WordPress) and communications via social media
- Community Liaison, reaching out to potential partners for fundraising, event bookings, and program coordination
Qualifications
- Administrative experience preferred
- Nonprofit/charity or CRA compliance experience an asset
- Strong organization, communication, and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage shifting priorities
- Comfortable with hybrid work
- WordPress experience is an asset
Hours & Compensation
- Part-‑time and flexible; hours to be confirmed
- Compensation based on experience
